Buckingham Palace is open to the public again until September and we are celebrating with a touch of royalty in our cushions.
Queen Elizabeth's part time home has served as the official London residence of the UK's sovereigns since 1837. It is in use for many official events and receptions held by the Queen, but it is open to visitors every summer.
Overall the palace has 775 rooms, including 52 Royal and guest bedrooms. You can hardly imagine the cushions that must be amongst them all! There are also 188 staff bedrooms, 78 bathrooms and 92 offices. Over 50,000 people visit the Palace every year as guests to exciting events such as State banquets and Garden Parties.
Whilst it is an administrative centre of the Monarchy, it is also a family home with many a memory made. There have been Royal births, christenings and many a wedding held in the palace, the most recent of which was The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's.
In honour of Buckingham Palace, we have collated some of our favourite British and Royal cushions. Have a browse through our entire collection before you embark on a trip to London yourself!
